Last week, I experienced one of the greatest moments of my career. Flag Day! Flag Day is the day that new diplomats receive their first assignment overseas. I received my first assignment in Mexico and I am so excited to begin language training soon!

Ethiopia has one of the most unique cultures that we’ve ever experienced. It has a mesmerizing language, unique coffee culture, and unbelievably hospitable people.
